The coming of Jesus Christ to earth, the unknown Tolstoy, the damned Rasputin, the love of King Richard, and the terrible secrets of the Holy Inquisition. All this in a historical film that intertwines entire eras, plunging the viewer into an unimaginable whirlwind of adventure, the eternal struggle for souls, and the all-conquering magic of love. "Crucified" is a feature film based on Leo Tolstoy's notes, which were banned at various times.
